Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas and premises to prevent security breaches and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm networks, and access control systems to detect and respond promptly to security threats.
- Implement and enforce security procedures, including checking identification, controlling access, and conducting bag checks.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, such as medical emergencies, fires, or trespassing incidents.
- Write accurate incident reports detailing observations, actions taken, and any other relevant information.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches and provide a sense of security for all individuals on-site.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate any security-related concerns to supervisors or law enforcement agencies.
Requirements
- Proven and verifiable experience as a Security Agent or a related role.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and professionalism, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Familiarity with security equipment and access control systems.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security, military, or law enforcement will be an advantage.
- Valid security guard license issued by the state regulatory authority. *Preferred*
